It was interesting to watch a spirit pacifying a stonned human,
Sameer tried to calm Amy, she cried for almost an hour , her face deeply buried in his embrace, finally she looked up and wiped her nose. ” I am hungry” she said…
Nora let out a fit of giggle and Flora rolled her eyes…..Sameer wondered how on earth he got stuck with women who were beyond his understanding…. Amy looked at Sameer and smiled ” I am hungry , I haven’t eaten since the time I got fired, can you get me something to eat please” she looked like a small child with huge sad eyes, this time even Flora felt a strange Tug…Sameer felt helpless but He wanted to help, before he could think of what to do Amy suddenly Squealed straight into his ears and he jumped, right Infront of him stood Flora with a tray of exotic platter …Amy was too excited, too hungry and stonned to think how and why and what….she simply took the platter, sat down and ate ….she was starving , it had been long …so long before a meal like this had been a treat… But only in her dreams, suddenly she stopped…. Was this a dream?…for a second the thought flickered , then she pushed it away, who cares….she was hungry and she could feel every morsel like magic.
The Trio watched her eat, not a single wastage of morsel…. Flora suddenly felt a strange connection to Amy, she felt like Amy was special, those soulful eyes, and that she was able to see them, so many questions ran through her Mind but she held back, she didn’t want to chase the girl away but she needed answers….what if Amy was the one they had been searching for ? There was only one way to find out…Ask.
Amy suddenly felt sober and much better, The meal was amazing, she stood up , wiped her hands on her t-shirt and grinned at Sameer and the two ghost….” Thankyou so much” she said, without thinking again she threw her arms around Sameer and hugged him tight… Sameer was not use to such attention from an absolute stranger but he felt relaxed…he missed Jacob … He hugged Amy tighter and received a glare from the ghosts… He let go feeling embarrassed.
” Who are you guys?” Amy suddenly asked …now it was the trio who froze…Amy was sober, she could still see them as clearly as one would see their reflection in the mirror… ” Ummh…” Sameer was trying to look for something to say “ghosts” came a reply, it was Nora… Sameer coughed hard , Amy laughed harder, Although she felt sober but it seemed the high was still there….” What? Nice joke ” she laughed.. Nora and Flora came closer and Amy moved a step back. They may have fed her but she would not let them scare her…no no no….. ” Amy , we are ghosts, and Sameer is a spirit” Flora said, looking at Amy carefully to see her reaction…Amy decided to play along, it was fun ….and she was bored and didn’t want to go home….” Oh I see, in that case, I am a broom that sweeps away the cobwebs of illusion” she responded…. This time The ghosts froze and Sameer felt a sharp ringing in his ears……
