Even after the body perishes….
I loved you with my soul
That is immortal ….so I chose to return .
Cheribie sat by the roadside, her head was reeling hard .. that voice had freaked her out, she looked around and there was no body that she thought would have spoken to her in such a strange tone… She tried to relax and waited for that voice to speak again but there was absolute silence … Maybe she had hallucinated, but why suddenly ? Was she sick? Was she going to go bonkers ? So many questions reeled in her mind …she tried to breath in and out and finally her mind calmed down, she felt lighter and then she stood up, passerbys simply gave her a brief glance and walked away…. she decided to rush back home, as it is whatever she had gone out for was not worth the risk of passing out on the middle of the road.
” Sarah that wasn’t funny” the Angel of death looked at me sternly …
” Well I just wanted to see if she was worth the shake , and again as I told you, I am not going anywhere with you,until I fulfil my promise …so chuck off buddy” I replied , although I knew , The Angel of death was not someone to mess with but again, My Mac was in distress and I had to find the right woman to handle him before I left for my final abode..
” Sarah, you are leaving with me right away!” The Angel of death sounded angry but I wasn’t going to give up easily… I decided to take another chance. ” Big bro, have you ever been in love?” I asked this time keeping a low tone, He looked at me in shock, there u go I had his full attention….” Mind your own business” he replied in a cold tone…. If I wasn’t a spirit I would have died again…. But this was a test of my promise to Mac…. I wasn’t going to give up so soon….
